Getting started
Tabulora is set up one pharmacy at a time, and there is no self-serve sign-up. A pharmacy receives an invite code, redeems it once on the dashboard to create its account, and then signs in on each iPad with that account’s email and password. To get an invite code, email access@tabulora.com.
A bench station needs:
- An iPad running iPadOS 26 or later.
- A plain, light, matte tray, evenly lit from above. The iPad’s own camera works; an overhead USB-C camera on a stand works better.
- Optionally, a USB-C or Bluetooth barcode scanner that types what it reads. The camera can scan barcodes instead.
Common questions
I forgot the pharmacy’s password
Reset it from the dashboard sign-in page, then sign in again on each iPad.
I forgot my PIN
PINs are managed by whoever runs the pharmacy, on the dashboard under Settings. Ask them to set you a new one; it reaches every iPad that is online within seconds.
The home screen says counts are waiting to sync
Counts are always saved on the iPad first, then uploaded. They upload on their own once the iPad is back online. To push them now, open Settings and tap Sync now.
The count looks wrong
- Spread the pills out. Most missed pills are in clusters where they touch or overlap, and rings on the screen point to those spots.
- Use Settings › Counting area to limit counting to the tray, so nothing at the edge of the bench is picked up.
- Light the tray from above. A lightbox or backlit tray is not supported.
Tabulora is a counting aid. A pharmacist remains responsible for every fill.
The camera picture is black
Tabulora needs permission to use the camera. Open the iPad’s Settings app, choose Tabulora, and turn on Camera.
